The cat you see in close-up at the left greeted the Leo Coffeehouse crowd on Halloween Sunday. Chris Biere (she’s an artist) created the intricate carving.
Our open micers were: “Papa Joe” Kretschmer, David Laskey, and Cheryl McKinney accompanied by Spencer Funk.
Lisa Biales, accompanied by fiddle player Doug Hamilton and cellist Michael G. Ronstadt, closed out the night with a blues-jazz-folk-pop inspired set.
Just a reminder: The song circle/jam starts at 5:30 p.m. before every show. Musicians, singers, and some folks who just watch gather to share songs. If you come about 5, you can become a QCB volunteer and help set up the room. Here’s a look at the next two weeks.
